What Dexed is
The DX7 in your DAW. Loads original sysex patches, so forty years of FM sound design is yours for nothing.
- 144 DAW-automatable DX7 parameters on one panel
- Full DX7 sysex compatibility and cartridge manager
- Three engine types: Modern, Mark I, OPL Series
How to install Dexed
Dexed runs on Windows, macOS and Linux. It ships as VST3, AU, CLAP and LV2, plus a standalone version that needs no DAW. Logic Pro and GarageBand users need the AU build. If your DAW supports CLAP (Bitwig, Reaper, FL Studio), prefer that build. Download it from asb2m10.github.io, run the installer or copy the plugin into your plugin folder, then rescan plugins in your DAW.
